Welcome to HCC! I’m honored to begin my counseling internship with this compassionate and skilled team and under the supervision of Richard Jones, LPC. I look forward to walking alongside you in your mental health journey.

I earned undergraduate degrees in ministry and music from Faulkner University and have spent several years working in various ministry settings. Currently, I’m in my final year of the Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Auburn University at Montgomery.

The training I've received, along with years of life experience, has prepared me to support clients with empathy in a safe environment. Friends and colleagues have often described me as a good listener and someone who brings a calming presence to difficult conversations. A few years ago, a mentor helped me see how the way God wired me could be used to help people through counseling.

I’ve personally benefited from counseling in both times of "crisis" and "maintenance" or personal growth, and those experiences continue to shape the way I approach my work with clients.

I counsel adults and have a particular interest in supporting men in their mental, emotional, and relational health goals. With my ministry background, I also have a special interest in walking alongside pastors and ministry leaders navigating the unique challenges they face. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, grief, shame, relationship issues, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and more.

I would be honored to hear your story and help you take the next best steps.
