I'm so glad you found the Hope City website and I'm even more glad you're considering sitting down with a professional to work through the challenges you're facing. We all have pain in our story and speaking these hurts along with God's truths can provide powerful healing. I fell in love with the mission of HCC and the Cole Ellis Foundation and wanted to be a part of providing professional help and support for the River Region.

In 2004 I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Master's degree in Counseling. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2008. I have over 20 years of experience as a counselor working with couples and individuals. I have worked in ministry for over 18 years. Moving from pain to peace doesn't imply an absence of pain but rather the implementation of a therapeutic relationship and alliance that allows for processing and acknowledgement of the hope and healing that is possible for all of God's children. My philosophy of counseling has been greatly impacted by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Restoration Therapy, and the truths and promises given to us by our Heavenly Father.

I hope you will take the next step and schedule an appointment to discuss the change you would like to see in your own story! HCC would be honored to partner with you on this journey.
